Greyhound Pets of America – Thursdays & Sundays
Greyhound Pets of America is a tax-exempt, non-profit corporation founded in 1987 for the purpose of rescuing ex-racing greyhounds. Since it opened its doors in 1987 GPA has adopted over 80,000 greyhounds into loving homes. As of 2008, Greyhound Pets of America has 49 chapters and sub-chapters around the nation.
GPA works with the racing industry to encourage its involvement with adoption efforts. The American Greyhound Council, a racing industry-sponsored organization established for the welfare of the greyhounds, began funding a nation-wide 800-number service (800-366-1472) in June, 1990. It asked GPA, as the largest greyhound adoption organization, to administer this service. Since then, GPA has fielded thousands of inquiries about greyhound adoption and sent prospective adopters to the nearest adoption agency.
The GPA adoption program depends on donations and volunteers to accomplish its goal. Whether you send a donation to the current GPA National Treasurer (see list of officers on websire) or to one of our member chapters, your donation will be tax-deductible.

4 Kids Charity – 4 Kids In Difficult Situations – Wednesdays and Saturdays
Our ultimate aim is providing resources that strengthen American families of all kinds. Our organization also enjoys partnering with other organizations that care about families.
4 KID’S Charity is unlike any charity you have ever considered in the past. Below is some information about 4 KID’S Charity 501(c)(3) children’s charity operates all year round and relies solely on volunteers to accomplish its mission.
AMERICA’S FORGOTTEN CHILDREN:
Doesn’t it just amaze you to hear that nearly 300,000 children in America go hungry, homeless, or must be rescued from terrible abusive situations each year and that so often they arrive at homeless shelter, spouses abused shelter, or crisis centers, foster kids, and schools, with absolutely nothing of their own? Imagine the trauma of being separated from all you know and not even having your own things. You see, abused and neglected children must often be rescued so suddenly that they do not have time to prepare, nor do the agencies that serve them. So most of these children arrive at and transition through the crisis centers and foster homes with few, if any, personal belongings.

Second Chance for Strays – Fridays
Since 1999 our small volunteer non-profit organization has been struggling to rescue as many stray cats from the surrounding counties as we can. We operate out of foster-homes with the love these animals deserve. We believe in spay/neutering, NOT euthanization. All our animals are altered to prevent more homeless animals and have appropriate vaccinations & medical care done by our local veterinarians.
100% of all donations go directly to help the animals. We rely on donations to help us keep the organization going and could use any funding sent our way.
Our future goal is to have land and a shelter facility to house and help many more of the homeless animals out there. Donated land or buildings would be wonderful. We are now officially a 501(c) (3) org. and we are hoping to widen our horizons with fund-raisers and can now offer tax-deductible donations.
Right now our hearts are bigger than our wallets and any donations are desperately needed. Please make donations payable to: Second Chance for Strays, Inc. Mail to: Second Chance for Strays, Inc.
